I went into the bank to cash a refund check from school which in the same building was directed to a personal banker once I got in his office I was asked why I didnt have an account with Chase after telling him that I was with a community bank and wanted to continue to support the smaller community bank. He wanted to go back and forth with me about how Chase employ people in those same communities and just gave a million dollars to community organizations. He then attempted to cash the check and then told me that my school ID was expired and I need another form of ID as my secondary ID so I gave him my bank Debit card and was told that I couldn't use it because it was a pre-paid card. I told him it was not it was the card tied to my checking account her then went and got his assistant manager and she backed his decision. I left and went to another branch who not only cashed the check with the same ID but then called the branch and asked what the problem was they told her it the name of the bank mucdt be displayed and she read them the bank name from the card. The customer service at this branch is always bad and the assistant manager has a very nasty dispositiion.

When to the ATM machine at the back of this bank and the machine spit the money out and the wind caught it and blew it all over the place. We are talking about 30, 20 dollar bills. So I go into the bank to tell them about it. First thing out of their mouth is nothing we can do. Not our problem. Teller is total rude and uncooperative. Bank manager very rude. Terrible customer service.I have never been treated so poorly by any institution like this before. So I lost 40 dollars. Do they care. What do you think!

I have been with Chase Bank since 2005 as a Commercial Account holder.  All of their services as slow, long lines and no better than any for profit bank.  This one has a few more motor lines and seats if you get tired of standing in line or need to talk to an actual bank notary, employee but as usual do not make decisions or call back.

This just about staff.  I work for a small company and brought in a $250K deposit.  I am not on the bank account, but make deposits regularly.  I also regularly need lien releases notarized for our business.  We just moved most $$ from BOA to Chase so I don't have a notary relationship with Chase.  I took  a large deposit along with a lien release to be notarized and provided my ID, business card, etc.  They grabbed my deposit while I talked to the notary. He asked if I was on the acct and I said no, but I am making a large deposit for our company.  His comment "what are you trying to bribe me?"  then he took my ID, left came back and said "I can't notarize your lien release.  You are not on the account.  I can't even verify that the document you have is even valid."  Umm.  Is that a notary's job?  Was I supposed to bring in all of my supporting documentation?  Ummm, no.  So they took the deposit but I wasn't worthy of a notary.  And, I had the opp to take the money to BOA (our alternate account).  I won't go back again and will report it to the owners.

We have been trying to purchase a home that was backed by chase. We put an offer in back in June and have had nothing but excuses and problems. The House is a short sale which is expected to take longer. The fact of the matter is you can never get in touch with anyone that knows anything, let alone that actually does anything. I truly feel sorry for anyone that banks with this Company.

I also was one who inherited this bank when they took over Bank One and will shout from the rooftops until the day I die the widespread corruption that is yet allowed to run rampant through this bank.  There are dozens of Class Action lawsuits against JP Morgan Chase for forced home flood insurance that is beyond criminal and just plain mob like.

We have tried for 7 years now to get our 2nd mortgage refunded for flood insurance + interest charged on it at 8.6% for flood coverage we have proven time and time again that we already had during the policy period.

If you have experienced this - view your statements and see an insurance cancel key notation by a charge you have challenged, don't trust it.  You have to look at the balance.  It probably will not show that it is reversed.

We pointed this out to the Vice President at this branch who didn't catch it after we spend several weeks trying to get a payoff amount for this loan with adjustments made for their fraudulent charges.

We owed about $19,000 last year and they have an extra $10,000 on top of this amount for just forced flood insurance charges.  Yes you read that right.

Even though JP Morgan was recently called before a committee to testify and released scott free by an equally corrupt committee, someday these people will face the music.  JP can flash his Obama cufflinks and smugly sit on his laurels as he and others like him rape this country but ONE DAY it will come to a screetching halt and justice will be served.

By looking at some of the other reviews I can only wonder how this bank got to where they are. My son is now in the 12th week of dealing with Chase for his mortgage. In july they told him that they would need me to be a co-signer on the loan. I was out of town that morning but drove back home in about two hours to take care of this latest issue with them. When we got to the bank, they then inform us that they think that he can get the loan on his own. They took I info ant way just in case. So in just two hours they did a 180 degree turn. The mortgage person is blaming it all on the underwriter. Weeks go by and nothing, then they come up with he doesn't have enough revolving credit, so he opens a Chase credit card. They wait until it shows up on his credit report before they make their next move. Then they say he has a 2 year employment gap. Is there anyone else that may have this same gap with the economy the way its been? He works in one of the auto plants now and is trying to start over after a divorce as well. On 10-5-12 they come up with wanting me back in the deal as a co-signer again, so this puts us right back where we were on july 24th over 8 weeks ago. I'm giving them dead line now. So now they have to put up with me as well as my son. So chase if anyone at your bank cares about people at all, you need to make these people at this branch accountable for their actions and put them out to work for a while, because they are way to comfortable in their positions.

Chase bank in Sterling Heights Michigan will give your money away, literally.

My wallet was stolen in Chicago (where I live) several months ago and although I cancelled all of my cards/accounts and had everything re-issued, my drivers license is still out there. Yesterday I was looking at my Chase checking online and noticed a $2,000 cash withdraw that I did not authorize. Long story short, the bank teller at the Chase bank in Sterling Heights, allowed someone using my drivers license to withdraw money from my checking account without my account number and/or debit card. They did not ask for a secondary form of ID which is standard in large amounts like this. There was no fraud alert even though I NEVER have taken money out in this large sum, I NEVER do business at the actual banks, AND I had charges (legitimate) on my chase debit card literally around the same time in Chicago! I cannot believe this would even happen give Chase's commitment to protecting their customers. As soon as this issue is cleared up and I get my money back (which I was told at minimum 3 business days), I'm closing all of my Chase accounts and taking them over to Bank of America where I already have a checking account and they are always on top of fraud issues. If you live in Sterling Heights, MI, I would urge you to never bank at this location - they might just give your money away next.

Customer Service at Chase is DEAD

I've been with Chase since they swallowed WaMu, so I inherited them, would never have chosen to bank with Chase otherwise.  I have never experienced such a horrible level of customer service in a bank (actually I think anywhere) in my life then at this branch!  Went in to close my three accounts & to make a long story short, the girl assisting me counted all of the money back to me in one lump sum, no tape or total on paper to show me that the three separate accounts added up to what she just counted back to me...so I made what I thought was a reasonable request to please run a calculator tape for the total.  She was incredulous and said " do you think I'm cheating you?!" ..no, I stated, I would just like to see the 3 accounts added up on paper.  She angrily flipped her screen around and showed me the total on her computer calculator.  I said great, I would like to see it on paper please..at that point she stated I should apologize to her for thinking she was being dishonest.. and that I wasn't worth the conversation she was having with me!!!! GEEZE, really?  YEP, she really, really said that!  Just run the freakin tape, that's all I wanted!  The branch manager then came from around her desk, said to me she had heard nothing but bad things coming from me the whole time I was there(she had a customer at her desk most of this time..hmmmm) and grabbed the piece of paper from the girl helping me, stomped off behind the counter came back and slammed the calculator tape on the desk with the total.  I then asked the clerk to count the money again since I had the total in front of me. She said "Are you kidding me?"  Okay, so maybe to a lot of people a little over 2 grand isn't much money, but to me it is! No, I'm not kidding, please count it again.  The branch manager was waving her arms in the air (not making this up!) said "just do it to get rid of her, we don't want her as a customer" as loudly as she could while people were conducting bank business. Don't worry, honey, I will never purposely step foot in your branch or any Chase branch again! Chase does not want your business, they don't need it, they already took all of our money in the bailout!  Hence Customer Service at Chase is DEAD!!!

6 months now with this HORRENDOUS bank!!I live on a limited income and my health is bad but I am forced to return to the bank again and again to get my measley social security...first it was that the credit card/debit card issued would not allow more than $200 withdrawal....guess who owns the credit card...CHASE!If you go into the bank they are rude and the lines are long while some are chitchatting behind the window NOT helping anyone and supervisors not assisting anyone...With COPD and being a heart patient its hard for me to park, go into bank to have to wait and wait and wait just to be greeted rudely etc,,,when the heat was over 100 degrees and gas at top dollar I still had to make numerous trips and I live almost 10 miles from the bank. You write and you get a canned letter REALLY! CHASE is NOT where you want to bank EVER!I feel I am being held hostage for the Money I worked for 50 years...I see they dont get much in reviews NOT SURPRISING

2 days ago I sat with a banker at Chase in Pleasant Valley to get some statement copies. He said "I see that you have closed your safe deposit box". I said that I had renewed for another year 1 month ago. He wasn't sure who had closed it and why. I went the next morning with my key and opened the box. When I took it out of the slot it felt empty. When I opened it it had been tossed and a large amount of money was GONE. I immediately talked to the woman that had let me into the box and she told me that it is impossible for anyone to get into the box. It takes the bankers key and my key to open it. I said "someone has been in my box". The branch manager repeated the same impossible scenerio. I know what I had in the box 100% positive. I keep it neat. It was a mess and partial contents was GONE.Since then I have read about 100s of people that have had their boxes robbed in banks...including Chase. One way is that when the banker turns your key to lock it,they do not turn it all the way so your side stays open and can be accessed at a later time with just the bank key. They said they would investigate. CHECK YOUR BOXES. THEY ARE NOT SAFE!.

Thank you Chase Bank staff!!! My 3 year old son and I went into this branch today and Gigy and everyone that helped us were amazing!! Not only was the experience in the lobby great but then when I discovered that my car battery was dead and was standing outside next to my vehicle waiting for a tow truck Gigy comes out with two other very handsome employees to jump start my car!!! I am a happy girl:) And that is customer service at it's finest...

Jennifer (girl who answers the phone) is extremely rude and has no people skills what so ever. I asked to speak to the bank manager and since she knew I was going to complain about her she told me the manager wasn't in and refused to give me the manager's name. The only way to get through to the manager was to have a friend call for me. My mother has two accounts that she will be closing in the morning. Needless to say we will NEVER be banking with Chase ever again.

I used to bank with WAMU, and when Chase took over their accounts, I continued to bank there.  However, after removing most of my deposits with Chase I realized that I still had a few open savings accounts with them.  I went to my local branch which is located inside of Apple Valley Stater Brother’s store to close the remainder of my accounts.  I was helped by a very rude and almost hostile employee Ms. Pena.  When the accounts were closed and she handed me the money, one of the coins fell on the floor.  I asked her if she would retrieve it for me because it rolled under her desk.  She proceeded to pull the coin out by sliding her foot on it and left it on the floor for me to pick up.   I will never bank at Chase again.

As the Real Estate Broker involved with the sale of the home appraised by the above, I wish to notify you of the incompetance of the appraiser. First, instead of going 6 months back, he went 3 months.Included in his appraisal and called in"superior condition" is an uninhabitable house. There are 8 rooms, not 6;the house does have central air,a newly renovatedfullbath,an updatedkitchen,refrigerator,disposal,washer/dryer and 4 bedrooms unlike 3 of his comps with 3 br. Had he gone back 6 months the appraisal would have come back much higher and may have reflected my client's home and more accurate value.  An agreed upon price by all partes had been $375K-now the buyer wants $326,000 because of this appraisal which was filled with error, omissions and laziness. Both parties are now at a standstill and Chase has done them a disservice. Can and will you help?(Please note: I am a Chase customer of many years but to submit this I had to "create an account"Thank you. My email is below & tel :201 945 4990
