This review is for year 2022. This bank is awesome and has come a long way over the years. The customer service is superior and very friendly. Their banking system is very user friendly. I totally trust my money is safe in Heartland Bank.

Really bad online banking. The software has problems constantly. I really don't feel my money is safe there. Went to CS community bank... MUCH better. Also, they can't answer your questions about some of the same products they sold to me when I had issues with them because it turns out they are another company's products that Heartland licenses. So if you have problems you have to call some 1-800 number. Not a good bank.

The staff are courteous and provide excellent service. The manager Dan is very helpful and honest. Ina (the Russian woman) is very sweet too. Their interest rates could definitely use some help. I wanted to get a home equity with them because I do most of my banking there, but they charge a floor of 5%---when I can get 2.99% elsewhere? No thanks!
