Opened two accounts about a year ago. Great service and they are always so helpful. This is how a bank should be run IMO. I have had at least 20 accounts with 20 different banks over the many years and this one is about the best of the best. Comerica rocks IMO

I made a deposit cash then they told me it was not there 2 hours on the phone nothing but run a round...mack and hill crest branch detroit pat crawford and henry are the managers

I was in a tight spot, my baby's momma asked for a loan that she'd pay back the following day. As a good samaritan or pushover, I pulled enough from rent to cover her utilities. The following day I had to wait till she got off from work and, yet, still late in the evening only gives me 75% of what I loaned her. Now the rent in form of a check is somewhere between the landlord and bank, if the check bounces, last time comerica bank charged me (3) $35 late fees in "one" day. She finally was able to recover the difference but it was too late to go to the bank. Today, I didn't realize there is a comerica location near me in Cypress. I check my balance online and the payments haven't been posted the landlord's nor utilities. Aha! my break plus I arrive at comerica at 4:24pm which was 17min and quickly was helped by rep Jesse. He greeted me professionally and it didn't bother him that I didn't know my account# so to speed up the transaction I pull out my comerica card, my drivers license for a straight deposit. I believe he took the liberty in searching thru my first and last name found my acct# I asked if it would be credit today. He said absolutely! A sigh of relief. Just want to shout out, Jesse thank you guy for making this whole ordeal end with peace of mind. You are greatly appreciated.

I must say the Teller Dawn was so nice and accommodating, she was able to assist me with all my banking needs. I will say the management lady I believe her name is Dorothy was very rude while speaking to Dawn, it was the way she said it and her facial expressions that pissed me off where I wanted to go behind the glass and smack the lady. Dawn held her head up high and continued to do her job the best she could I can tell she was hurt. I would give Dawn 5 stars for her service, but as far as the management overall -5

Terrible Customer Service

If I could give less than 1 star I would.  My purse was stolen and I was able to easily cancel all credit cards, but when it came to my bank Sterling/Comerica on Fountainview where I have had a relationship for 12 yrs, it took me 5 phone calls, without success, so that I had to actually go to the bank during my busy work day to get a hold put on my accounts so that my business account would not be drained.  By this time it was almost 4:00 pm when they were about to close.  I had also called Ann Jackson, the bank manager, who never returned my phone call even after I told her in my message the urgency of the problem.  She never even got anyone else to return my call and handle the problem.  What does that say, "they don't care one bit about our money".  It took a whole business day to accomplish what I needed and it only happened because I am close in proximity to the bank and then I had to raise a stink.  The teller, Ella, was also very rude when I had called in about being transferred from person to person, to customer service, to being put on hold for ages!  The poor service starts from the top at this bank and I don't recommend it!

They are the best. THis is the best bank I have ever worked with. They are super professional, Kind, Responsive and really care about their clients.

Does not matter that I have been loyal customer of this bank for more than 25 years!
Does not matter that I have been an income producing customer for ALL of that time!
Does not matter that I do many THOUSANDS of dollars of business there yearly!
Does not matter that I have many thousands on deposit currently.
They charge me 6.31% on my equity line, currently offer 3.25% but will not offer that rate to me and refusae to refinance me! PIGS....especially SUSAN SCHMIDT of "customer satisfaction" department! She is a do nothing employee!

Let me start by saying that I LOVE Comerica bank as a company and my banking center; however, DO NOT go to this branch (Garland Ave.), they are extrememly rude and dont care about their customers at all. I had an issue on my account and spoke to Sandra that this branch, I have never been treated so poorly before. She told me I was going to have to deal with it because that has been their policy for a while, when its definitely not that way at other branches. If you want great customer service, so see Peggy at Chappel Hill or Kathy at Montfort and 635...

there is only one teller and one manager on duty at the time.  We was there to ask about our loan but waited for 15min plus.  We lefted to run other errand and plan to return to the branch within 30 min.  We was informed her computer doesn't work so theres nothing can be done at the moment.  I m very unsatisfied with this bank

Understaffing and outdated technology is a complaint I have to agree with when it comes to Comerica :/

A customer sent me a check for >$5k issued from Comercia Bank. I never received it. It was cashed at another bank with no indication that identification was shown.  The phone number given isn't mine.  The signature looks nothing like mine.  They paid out anyway, and now they are saying it may take 2 months before they can recover the funds.  You expect better security from a supposedly commercial bank.
p.s. I'm with US Bank.  They disown their commercial sister bank and will not help.  The issuer of the check won't pay until money has been restored to his account.

I Have had a great experience since moving my accounts to this bank from Chase.  Even tho we are just a small customer with our personal and business accounts here, Lilianne, the branch mgr. and her staff have been great!  They have helped us through a few small problems and have resolved everything to my satifaction everytime.  I have just switched over another business account today and it all proceeded just as it should.  This bank gives its customers that "small town bank" service that we just love.

I am a single mother of two.  On December 15, 2011, I had $645 in the bank.  I went to an ATM machine to withdraw $500 to purchase Christmas presents for my children and buy food for our Christmas meal.   I'm not trying to pull at your heart strings, but you need to understand what heartless people I have dealt with at Comerica Bank.

When the ATM dispensed the cash, the slot wasn't big enough to handle the $500, so it got jammed inside the machine.  As a security feature of the ATM, it retracts the cash so no one else can fish it out.  Well they deducted $500 plus their $3 fee for the cash I never received.  I immediately went inside the branch and told them what happened.  They were able to contact someone in their ATM operations and knew for a fact that the money was not dispensed and was retracted.   There is no question that I didn't get the cash.   They told me I had to file a complaint in order to get the money back and it would be there within ten days.

Today is January 3, 2012 and I still have not received a credit for the money their machine stole from me.  I go to the branch and they tell me it should post as a credit tonight, but it never does.

This is a common happening.  I have talked to many other people and posted this on my social networks and many have told me this happened to them, but the bank gave them a conditional credit since they are able to determine that the money wasn't dispensed.

Why would I not be given a conditional credit like others?  They know and admit they never dispensed my cash, yet they do nothing.   If I owed them a dollar, they would be calling everyone of my relatives and trying to ruin my credit as soon as possible, in addition to adding ungodly fees and charges.

Please do me a favor and do not do business with this bank.  They have really hurt me and caused me to have the most stressful and depressing Christmas ever.  I wish I was rich and could afford a $500 mistake like this, but I'm not.  Thanks.  Lorena

The staff at this bank is rude and unable to do their job. They never provide me with the correct information regarding my accounts.  They told me that my checking account was free with direct deposit and then charged me for the account for over a year. Then when I brought it to their attention they did not want to refund the fees.  In addition, I made a withdrawl from my account and they did a "close account debit" from the account.  Then, when I went to pick-up my son's medication after the emergency room, my card would not work.  Why?  No one could tell me.  I found out it is because they closed my account without my authorization.  Comerica needs to spend more time training these employees both on product education, processes, and customer service.  I have left this bank and moved to Wells Fargo.  I hope you read this and choose not to bank here.

The staff is mediocre and the manager needs to have her position taken by someone else. When ever there is a problem I am less inclined to talk to the manager due to the fact that she is extremely unhelpful and usually makes the situation more difficult. I'm currently looking for a new bank specifically due her less than satisfying work related performance.

We have banked at Comerica W. Loop South location for more than 10 years. The branch manager, Tim McCabe, is personable and VERY customer service oriented. The rest of the bank staff are extremely knowledgeable and efficient, as well. They have earned our loyalty and we wouldn't bank anywhere else!

The stuff was great until something important came up and I had to deal with the manager. Rosa Kang is the worst thing that could ever happen to this office. I came to this location a few times and every time the manager's decision would complicate my life drastically. Customer service suffers a lot just because someone does not know how to manage the office and deal with people. I lost time, parking money, I got stressed out and all for what? And the most important thing is that in other locations I've NEVER had problems with THE SAME situations with my account. FIRЕ HER! It also seemed like the stuff was scared of her.

Comerica bank lewisville on 121 will always be my bank thanks to Ryan Poteet he goes the extra mile for me all the time takes my call on the smallest matter and eases my mind when i screw up my account. He handles my account like i have a million dollars in his bank and i dont, not even close ,so it nice to br treated like someone special regardless. Sine i moved to Coppell i pass a Comerica on my way to the Lewisville branch but with good customer service with great employyees like Ryan it is worth it.
