Great customer service in Massapequa!  I dealt with the branch manager, young and very knowledgable!  Citibank has the best cc's overall.  Branch Manager was very polite and helpful.  Had a lot of mortgage questions too and she helped me. I usually bank with TD but wanted to open CC with Citibank.  Great experience and will bring in more accounts with Branch Manager.

A Child Personal Banker

What a joke this bank has a personal banker that is way to young to be in that position, was the person that made the decision to give this position to this girl drunk.. I went in there all she was interested in was selling me a credit card she did not take the time hear me out. She could not even compose a sentence correctly, the only two proffesionals there are the older personal banker & branch manager. Do your self a favor if you must go there make sure its one of the two I metioned above help you. I hope Citi notices that she should not be in that position not the right fit.

The management and staff are incompetent and very difficult to do business. I have a small basic checking and savings.  They mess up my deposits and put them other people accounts.  The 800 number is a joke.  Nobody speaks English to help you on the 800. Number.  For being retired they are rude and short with seniors and the managers could care less.  One time I had a complaint a blonde manager helped me.  She smelled like alcohol.  Run from this bank..they offer everything and deliver nothing.

very nice beautiful office, I used to bank with wells fargo across the lobby, but decided to move all my accounts to citi bank, very friendly staff, the branch manger is professional and welcoming, and I love working with Nadia. highly recommended.

Staff is OK, they do try to help. But they are never available and always either have to call you back or there's a wait. Also very slow Corporate work. I've had several banks, in this day things are usually automated but not this bank. I've been told they do things manually. Must be saving them money somehow.

I have been a Citibank customer for a long time and have gone to many of their branches.  This location is tops and they try to wait on you as quickly and professionally as possible.  Some people come in with crazy request that need to be handled via the 800 and get frustrated when the local people can't help.  Give them a break, it has nothing to do with this location.  It's all about corporate rules.  I am so glad to have a local branch with such professional people.

Have you ever tried to reach this bank branch by telephone?  On Google, only an 800 number is provided.  This call center number refuses to give out the individual bank branch number, but will connect you.  I tried twice, and both times I was dumped into voicemail.  There is no operator available.

This is by far the worst bank I've been to!! The staff is incompetent and lazy. They will keep you there for hours, while they are making phone calls, because they have no idea of what they are doing!!!
Unless you actually enjoy wasting your time, DO NOT GO THERE!
I am definitely closing my bank account at Citibank, and moving to a better bank, that actually makes your life easier, not miserable...

I have been a Citibank customer for over 20+ years.  I've had two mortgages and several refi's with Citibank recently as the rates have dropped so low.

Besides the restrictions coming to them from the underwriters I have found them to be patient and willing to work within my time frame because the appraiser had to come and I was under renovations.  They've held the rate too.

We are in our 7th month of waiting for this bank and this branch to refi our existing mortgage with them. It was supposed to take 3 months, and we are now 7+ months. The service was so bad that we got the branch manager involved.  Now there are 5 people that do not respond to our inquiries for service and status updates. We are 25+ year customers with this bank. The only part of the organization worse than the refi department is the mortgage guy and manager at this bank.  Do not believe anything they tell you. They will not help you, respond to emails or follow through on their promises. Put  your money under a mattress before you take it to this branch.

Speaking with their short sale dept.  My client is the widow of borrower.  Every day, they ask for new information and new authorizations. When they say they have everything, the next day the ADD more documentation.

Our government bailed them out.  They have staff that could care less, or are poorly trained and told to delay delay delay   This bank works like a third world country.

The wait is unbelieveable and appauling, standing online takes longer than an avg lunch period. The bankers don't even come out from behind their cubicals to help. This is ridiculous!

I have been trying to reach someone at this bank for more than a week. they don't have a published number, customer service claims they only have extensions, they call and no one picks up the phone. their regard for their customers, current advertising notwithstanding, is zero. Worst choice of bank!

Misleading;

I deposited a 3rd party citibank check into my citibank account. I was assured that there were sufficient funds in that account to cover the check. However, 3 days later, the check bounced and I'm being charged a $10 fee.

I am very disappointed in the service! Even though I did get a "supposedly free" checking account the bank charged me $45 total for not maintaining a minimum balance which for my account is not necessary/(special case).
I am going to try to fix it but I have to pay for someone else's mistake with my time and effort.
NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!!

This has to be the worst customer service ever.  These people should all be replaced with employees who actually care about their customers AND their job.  With all the unemployed, one would think that hard work, good manners and respect for your client's would be the number one goal for a business.
Not here.
They do not care about you or your business....SO...take it someplace else
