I walked in and was not greeted until the teller behind the window looked around and noticed no one else was going to acknowledge me. After standing there for, maybe 1-2 minutes, she finally walked over to me and asked me how she could help me. I advised her that I needed an item notarized, she then proceeded to call someone. A woman walked out of one of the side offices and the teller then called to her and asked her if they could notarize something for me, seeing as I am not a customer. Cheryl, the woman that walked out of the office, looked at me, then looked back down at the printer that she was pulling papers from and spoke as if she was speaking to the printer, "No, we don't." The teller apologized and that was it.
Customer Service is the utmost important focus in banking. Greeting the guest as soon as they enter the financial institution, making eye contact and assessing their needs.
I'm glad I was just in town and needed the notarized documents and that I don't have to live here and bank with Ciera Bank of Hickory Creek, TX.
