I am terribly disappointed with BMO Harris's takeover of M&I bank. They have been unhelpful, uncourteous, difficult to reach, and my services have been abysmal. Avoid them at all costs!

Do not start a mortgage proces with Mark Wunderlich

We went to Harris for expertise and reputation in the mortgage industry.  We went to Harris for a purchase mortgage.  We provided all of the proper paperwork-excellent credit, excellent income, limited debt, excellent appraisal(that we paid $500 upfront for).  We were completely upfront and honest with Mark Wunderlich the whole time.  I was selling my house to my boyfriend who I was going to marry in 2 months.  He said it wasn't going to be a problem.  The week before the wedding he said he made an extra phone call to insure that we would have no problems.  Less than a month after the wedding, we find out it is considered a Arms Length transaction.  This something Mark should have known.  He should have been completely knowledgeable in the mortgage industry to know this simple policy of Harris Bank.  Now, we cannot do the mortgage and we are out $500!  Completely unfair.  Everytime we asked a question, he had to make a phone call, check is phone records you can see how many times he had to call me back for a simple question.  When they questioned our extensive of our relationship after my husband and I got married, I told him we are going to be honest in the letter and his response was "I don't want to lose my job".  Now, I'm out $500!  I'm going to the better business bureau and every website I can until I get my money back!  Mark Wunderlich should not be in the mortgage industry!

no one can help me, ever!

I can't seem to get anyone to help me get a debt card.  No one calls me when they say and when I go in person there is never anyone to help me.  YOu need to hire more help or get people who know what they are doing.  I hate this bank and wish I could move somewhere else.  Thank god I don't have my personal account here!

Horrible branch, seems they can't get anything done. They don't return emails, or phone calls.  When they say they will do something "right a way" they just let it sit on their desk for a month...inactive.  very disappointed.
