I have been a customer of The Citizens Bank for 35-40 years. I currently have my house financed there. My son has a savings account there. My son asked me to cash his paycheck there since he had to work. Bank would not cash it because my name was not on his account. I was not doing anything to his account - just cashing a check. These people know me and my family. So much for staying with the same bank. I was speechless. The girl knew me. She wasn't new. I just can't believe this treatment. I hope my son changes banks.

This customer could have deposited the check to his account and then withdrawn the money to give to his son. The bank was just following normal procedure and would have been liable if they had not. What is wrong with people these days? Everyone is so self-centered and believes they are entitled to get whatever they want yesterday.
