The tellers at this bank are friendly and can handle most basic duties well, however, the management is surprisingly unprofessional. If a problem should occur with an account or anything more difficult needs to be taken care of (beyond a deposit or simple withdrawal)competence appears to come to a halt. The equipment and office decor is archaic. I had to wait 25 minutes for a wire transfer to be taken care of. The worker made an error on the slip of paper they used IN A TYPEWRITER WITH CARBON PAPER and USED WHITE OUT to correct the mistake. In my recent dealing with a compromised debit card, after making 2 trips to the bank, speaking to a representative on the phone who hung up on me, then speaking to a branch manager who said "I don't usually deal with credit cards." I was promised a call from another manager within the hour. Two and half hours later another manager called back, sounded like he'd been asleep, was rude and defensive, never apologized for his staff hanging up on me, even though I am a client who's money is in their bank in more than one account. He, as did the previous obviously unprofessional staff person, assured me my card was safe and ready to use. After that call, I tried to use my debit card again & received the second humiliating response of "invalid card" even though there was plenty of money in my checking account. I called the second manager back to find he admitted to saying he had resolved the problem, but in fact he had not. He said he would fix it now. My previous employer recently moved his assets from this bank to another establishment because of issues like this and hearing that this bank was under investigation. I will open my accounts elsewhere in the morning.
