I Don't Know Why I Gave This Bank A Chance.

I opened my account on March 19, 2014. It is now June 11th and I have yet to receive a bank card.

I should have known this bank was going to give me hell when I seen a bunch of young people that look like they were fresh out of high school work here. I only gave it a chance because of the no minimum fees and such. This young girl opened my account, everything was fine. After I didn't receive my card in two weeks, I visited the branch and was told they it was never ordered. So they ordered it, gave me the usual "7-14 business days" line. Two more weeks passed, still no card. I call, they was like if I get it expedited then it is a $50 charge. I go back to the branch, they expedited it for free, tells me that it'll be sent in 3-5 days. Still no card. I am not sure why I'm not getting a card if I receive bank statements in the mail.

I decided to close my account (it is now the beginning of May) and they want to charge $50 to close the checking and $50 to close the savings. I took all my money out except the $50 in both accounts.

Now that is June, I check my account and I have $45 in the savings. I check my transaction history and there's a $5 service charge. Oh no no no ma'am. Service charge for what?Thought there were no fees?

This bank really needs to be shut down. I see all of these one stars and I'm like why didn't I check this out sooner. I'm just disgusted.

WORST BANK I'VE DEALT WITH IN 40 YEARS!

I opened an account 2 years ago. I am 51 years old and I have had my own bank account since I was 11. BY FAR...This is the WORST bank I have ever dealt with!!! If you want to be ABUSED by untrained and unprofessional tellers and managers, open an account with this bank. To boot, my husband has been in banking for 25 years with other large banks. I opened this bank account for my business because I had heard that this bank was ideal for small/female owned businesses. I wanted a relationship with a small community bank. Additionally, I would like to mention that I NEVER bounced a check with this bank. The abuse suffered by this unprofessional staff are too numerous to on this site in detail and ranges from unrecorded transactions to tellers who are just plain inexperienced.

Open an account with ANY OTHER BANK BUT THIS ONE!!! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!

Horrible, Horrible, Service!
Overall Rating

If I could give a O star rating I would.

No one there except a woman name Marta knows what they are doing. They are rude and the bank does a terrible job of training the customer service reps all the way through. I asked the same question to 3 different people and got 3 different answers.

I asked if I could cash a payroll check in the bank for the full amount.  They said yes as long as it was drawn off of the bank.  I came in to cash my check which was drawn off of that bank and they would only give me $100.00 of it.

I asked when the money would be available  if I cashed a check NOT drawn from their bank. They said If I deposited it on Friday it would be available on Monday because of the business days.   I came in Friday, I sent a payment out on Saturday, I got bounced check fees of $100.00 for one check!   Because there was a holiday on the following monday they only released a particle payment.  (And I knew that How?  So when the next business day came on Tues. There were only particle funds available the full amount was available on Wed. A Full three business days!  Would they take the charges off NOPE!.

Bottom line, I never had MY money available when I needed it even from a check drawn on the same bank!

I came in to close my accounts and I was upset and I was just complaining to the teller how frustrated I was.  I never accused her of anything.  Just blowing off steam and she says.   Don’t talk to me it is not my fault?  I looked at her and said I never said it was your fault?  I am just frustrated!  She is like I don’t have to take this, you can’t talk to me like that, so indignant.  I just said you are getting too sensitive about something I never accused you of.  Suck it up and do your job and help me.  She just went a a don’t you talk to me like that - snap.   I can’t deal with you let me give you someone else.

So, I get someone else and close the accounts.  On Jan 3.

Then guess what today I get a overdrawn letter from the bank saying I owe $58.95 in fees.  The letter I received is dated 1-21-14.   18 days after I closed the account!!! I call the number on the letter. They tell me they can’t help me and I need to call the branch where my checking account was.

I call and the gal looks it up and says they forced a $5.95 charge through on Jan 7th.   4 days after I closed the account!    They charged  me fees because I bounced a check!   ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!

NOW IT HAS TO GO TO SOME OTHER MANAGER TO BE APPROVED AND THE CHARGES DROPPED.

This is the bank at the pick --in save in Franklin, WI!  BEWARE!!!!

The same thing happened to me along with dozens of other examples of incompetence that led me to close the account in the first place! It took FIVE visits to the bank before my account was closed and the manager acted as if he was doing me a favor reversing the charges.

I think they are penalized when someone closes an account. BEWARE!
